James Isaac Martin
Isaac was born in
Birmingham, Alabama and, at an early age, his family moved to
Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Memphis State University (now
The University of Memphis), where he majored in Journalism and
English Literature. Even though he planned to become a
journalist, he was seduced away from a career in writing by the
record industry of the 1970s where he worked with Arista, ABC,
Chrysalis and Motown Records. He left the music business for
good in the mid- 80s. Today, he is an Information Technology
consultant. His next book to be available is “Sad Sack
Revisited” which is a humorous look at his service in the U. S.
Army. His writings include, “This Road is Crying”, “You Only
Love Once”, “Sad Sack Revisited” and “Loose Women Never Get the
Blues”.
He currently lives in
Cordova, Tennessee with his lovely wife/editor, Carolyn and
their Miniature Schnauzer, Zoe.
A member of the Baby
Boomer Generation, he was in the “first wave” of 1946. He has
attempted to be an astute observer of the progression of Baby
Boomers, as they have traversed five generations. Baby Boomers
are the most chronicled generation in history. Their every move
has been documented. They were a target market at 10 years old
and remain a target market today. This book is a guide to
geezerdom for his brethren.
